Kari-Matti Elo

I am an independent consultant and broker based in Espoo, Finland. I combine an international commercial background with hands-on understanding of energy and oil-product value chains, including base oils and lubricants markets. I also maintain an academic link to Tilburg University.

Over my career, I have held director-level responsibilities in the sector (including STR TecOil) and contributed to industry dialogue through European base oils and lubricants events and market forums. Within InnoHeap, I support clients especially in commercial opportunity sourcing and evaluation, partner and customer interfacing, and pragmatic deal-making—bringing a trader's discipline to market intelligence, pricing logic, and execution in cross-border environments.
